Africa Training Institute is pleased to announce a Certificate Course in Introduction to Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies. This is both an online and Distance Learning Course, which starts 1st of every month.
Overall Course Overview

Factors included: a seat with a lid, a solid structure made from wood, that it can be locked, cleanliness, toilet paper and hand washing facilities. It isn’t rocket science, but we need to ensure that we are aware of these things in our planning.” - Paul O'Sullivan, Hygiene Promoter, Red Cross This course provides an introduction to hygiene promotion in emergencies, covering the main methods and approaches, and will provide a good overview of the community engagement aspect of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) programming. Introduction to Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies is a participatory workshop, which uses a mixture of theory and practical group work.

Assignments
There are four assignments (continuous assessment tests), research paper and one examination to be offered at the end of the course. Assignments account for 40%, research paper counts for 30%, while the Final Exam accounts for 30% of the total mark. Upon completion of the course, you shall be issued with a Certificate and a course transcript. Examination Certificate and Transcripts will be sent after successful completion of the course.
