Africa Training Institute is pleased to announce the Diploma in Agri-Business Management. This is both an online and Distance Learning Course, which starts 1st of every month.
Overall Course Overview
Agribusiness is central to Africa’s food security, employment and inclusive growth. Many farmers, cooperative members, NGO field staff, extension workers and emerging entrepreneurs possess strong production knowledge but lack the business, marketing, finance and value-chain skills needed to turn farming into profitable, resilient enterprises. This practical Diploma provides a solid foundation in agribusiness management tailored to African smallholder and SME contexts. Participants gain immediately applicable skills in farm business planning, marketing, basic financial management, post-harvest handling, value addition and climate-smart practices. The course emphasises low-cost, practical tools, African case examples and outputs (business plans, enterprise budgets, marketing strategies) that learners can apply directly in their work or enterprises.

Assignments
There are four assignments (continuous assessment tests), research paper and one examination to be offered at the end of the course. Assignments account for 40%, research paper counts for 30%, while the Final Exam accounts for 30% of the total mark. Upon completion of the course, you shall be issued with a Diploma Certificate and a course transcript. Examination Certificate and Transcripts will be sent after successful completion of the course.
