Course Description:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is designed, implemented, and utilized across development and public sector programs. While this transformation is gradual, understanding and applying AI in M&E is no longer optional—it is essential for improving efficiency, accuracy, and impact.
This 6-month Diploma in AI for Monitoring and Evaluation provides a practical, hands-on learning experience tailored for professionals working in Africa’s development landscape. The course focuses on integrating AI into core M&E processes including data collection, analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting.
Participants will gain exposure to accessible, no-code and low-code AI tools that can be applied in real-world contexts such as health systems, agriculture programs, climate change initiatives, and social development projects. Emphasis is placed on ethical AI use, data governance, and applying innovative solutions in resource-constrained environments.
