Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Frameworks for Development Programmes and Public Policy

This intensive course equips participants with the practical skills required to design, implement and manage robust Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks for both development programmes and public policy. It covers the full MEL cycle, from developing Theories of Change and results chains to selecting indicators, collecting and analysing data, applying findings for adaptive management, and communicating results to decision-makers. Through African case applications and hands-on framework building, participants learn to create systems that support accountability, continuous learning and evidence-based policy and programme improvement.
